Are you meticulous, analytical, and have experience in calculations, purchasing, and contracting? Do you enjoy working closely with production and contributing to profitable projects from the early stages? Then you could be our next Estimator/Purchaser in contracting!

About the position

At Trädgårdsanläggare Hallblom AB, we are now looking for an estimator focused on purchasing and bids for our earthworks and construction operations. The role suits you who want to work systematically with calculations, supplier contacts, and purchasing – and who wants to be an important part of our contracting projects from start to completion.

You will work closely with project managers, site managers, and management, playing a central role in ensuring the right cost levels, deals, and purchases.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Calculation work for bids and inquiries
  • Gathering and evaluating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Purchasing materials, machinery, and services for contracting projects
  • Updating and developing price lists and calculation bases
  • Collaboration with project and site managers regarding production and budget
  • Follow-up of calculations against outcomes
  • Participation in contract reviews and project kick-offs
  • Support in changes and cost assessments
  • Contributing to improved routines in purchasing and calculations

Our assignments are varied and include earthworks and construction contracts, new production, cultural heritage environments, schools, properties, housing cooperatives, and public outdoor environments.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in calculations, purchasing, or financial follow-up in contracting, who thrives in a role where structure, accuracy, and collaboration are crucial.

To succeed in this role, we see that you:

  • Have experience in calculation and/or purchasing work within earthworks/construction
  • Have a good understanding of contracting economics and production flows
  • Are accustomed to working with quotes, contracts, and supplier contacts
  • Have strong analytical skills and work systematically
  • Are communicative and collaborate well with both production and management
  • Have a valid driver's license (B)
  • Express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish

Meritorious:

  • Experience with AB04/ABT06, AMA, and change management
  • Experience in procurement and negotiation with suppliers
  • Experience with calculation software (Bidcon) and quantity measurement programs (Blobin)
  • Relevant education in construction and economics

Employment form

Permanent employment, full-time (40 hours/week).

We apply a 6-month probationary period.

Working hours

Monday–Thursday: 06:45–16:15

Friday: 06:45–13:15
